MAC cosmetics compared to regular brands..?

Is there really a difference I have never tried them myself but my sister swears by their products...Can someone tell me why they prefer MAC over cover girl, revlon etc...





why pay $23.00 for lipgloss when you can get a similar shade for $3- 5.00?

MAC is high end makeup and won't give you the cheap look that some drugstore makeup will give you. I'm not saying all drugstore makeup is bad but some of it is. Alot of MAC's foundations also preserve your skin to keep you younger looking through the years, as well as making your face look flawless. Generally the MAC makeup is better than other stuff that you can find at drugstores (mascara makes longer looking eyelashes, foundations are longer-lasting, eyeliner is smudgeproof, ect). Drugstore brands usually have stuff that smudges, and it doesn't last all day.





Oh and for your lipgloss question, the $23 lip gloss is probably much better than the $3-5 one. The shades might appear the same but the more expensive one probably lasts longer, tastes better, and isn't sticky. And the colour would also actually look good on your lips, while drugstore lipglosses tend to look good in the tube but when you put it on it appears transparent.

Oh my god, they are the best............ They last longer, have better pigmentation, and Their colors are so much truer. I adore mac, You get what you pay for when it comes to cosmetics.

MAC lasts longer, and when you go to the MAC counter they take samples and match the foundation/coverup to your skin, instead of you having to go to the store and fend for yourself for the right skin tone.

mac cosmetics r good but ya u really need to shop around i beleive quality doesnt always lie in brand names and price one time ago quality was in price and brand namnes but not anymore you need to shop around really.and wer wat is comfortable. 2 be honest they r not any better and the cheaper ones are better and do the trick but gain shop around explore ingredinets shades and then pick the best!!!?? SHOP AROUND :) have fun!!!
I mix my makeup with expensive makeup and less expensive makeup. Somethings I would spend less on. For example I would spend less on lipstick because I don't use it often.


However, higher end foundation will last longer. The ones in the stores tend to streak and have uneven coverage. Honestly pick what you like and go for it.
