I'm allergic to all the cosmetics I've tried, so what brands/products do you recommend?

I've tried clinique, covergirl, colorescience, lancome, benefit, and the neutrogena skin clearing makeup- but my eyes get swollen whenever I use any of these porducts. I need to find a mascara, foundation, and eyeshadow that I'm not allergic to.I'm allergic to all the cosmetics I've tried, so what brands/products do you recommend?

Sounds like you have very sensitive skin. I have the same. My skin gets little bumps every time I go to get an eyebrow wax. Try Mary Kay. I use them and have no more problems, there a little more expensive but it's worth it. Some Avon products are also good.

Try everyday minerals- all natural!! They have PURE minerals, unlike bare minerals, which have chemicals. I LOVE IT!!!

Hunter, work on cleansing your system by drinking lots of water and eating fresh fruits/veggies; maybe look into a product that cleans your colon too. It could be any combination of reasons why you're reacting to the products you're using. Also, be sure to keep your products clean - use disposable applicators - if using brushes to apply, wash them often. I like apple cider vinegar and water to clean mine. Then try a product that is designed for people w/sensitive skin - my choice is aularale.com/7002.
All of the product brands that you mention contain artificial colors, fragrances, and/or manufactured preservatives. You need to try and find a product that is more naturally based. Artificial colors, fragrances and preservatives can and do cause allergic dermatitis in many people. If you have a natural food store nearby (such as Whole Foods) go and look there and I'm sure you'll find something.





I'm also very allergic to many products and have tried the Arbonne and it definitely doesn't bother me as much. I can wear the eye shadow all day before my eyes feel itchy (as compared to having them itch after only an hour or so). Although Arbonne is NOT ';all natural'; as the other answerer states, it IS botanically based and doesn't contain any artificial colors or fragrances. It does, however, contain the preservatives (in small amounts) that bother some people.





I'm a licensed esthetician and have yet to find a color cosmetic product that 100% doesn't bother my eyes, and I've tried too many brands to name.
try Almay its more on the expensive side but more expensive you buy the better it is.

test it on the inside of your wrist, but make SURE it's hypo-allergenic or somethin like that
Like you, I'm allergic to most cosmetics and have tried many different products. The ONLY mascara and eyeshadow that works for me is Almay. Anything else itches like crazy. Almay also has a good line of facial products such as foundation, blush, facial creams, etc., and all of their products, including eye products, are hypo-allergenic. Good luck!

it' called arbonne. it works great it is all natural and isnt tested on animals.but it,s pure safe and it really works!!!=)
I use Bare Escentuals products, they're mineral based. The powder foundation looks very natural and my skin tolerates it very well (I have very sensitive skin too). They're a bit more expensive but well worth it in my opinion.
